Director of photography

Bio

I started in the industry as a unit set photographer, then moved into camera training and assisting for a few years. Then, after going through all the steps of the ladder, I started DPing.

I love working. Love pre-production: finding the best ways to tell the story visually, figuring out the locations, choosing the best equipment for the job, going through the references, asking questions, finding solutions. I love being on set and see the team-work aspect of filmmaking.

I have built my own camera and lighting team (focus pullers, gaffers, etc), the crew I have worked with on numerous projects. I trust their taste, their professionalism, and their ability to save production’s time.
I believe in exciting, original projects. I believe in pushing the visuals, to see what we can come up with. And most of all, I believe in a good director.

An obligatory picture of me somewhere in a remote location looking cool (and majorly sleep deprived).
